Hey PurpleXYZ. Thank you so much for taking the time to play and write these comments. Yeah, those make perfect sense.

You know what they say, 20 % coding - 80% fixing bugs.    We'll get to work on those ASAP.

And... yes... I played Gloria, and guess what?   CHICKENS!!! - I see a pattern here :P

Thank you and once again, I wish you the best luck in your game dev endeavors.

Best,

Ivan

Oh wow, I loved this Donitz!

The sound design and the music are super effective.
The game play is really good, every time I thought I was gonna get bored you masterfully gave me a new challenge.

And the end... absolutely blew my mind...

How long did it take you to finish this?

I noticed that you pay a lot of attention to the sound design of your games (I played "Pressing Under Pressure" and "OnOff")... kuddos for that!

On another note, Bellseboss Studio and I recently released our game, "Not A Lazy Sunday," and we'd be honored if you could take some time to give it a try. We value the perspective of a fellow developer like you, and your feedback would mean a lot to us.

Wishing you the best of luck in your dev endeavors, and I'd love to have a chance for us to collaborate in the future.

Best regards,

IB

  • Hey Purple,

I must say, I'm absolutely loving what you've created here!

Your reimagining of a classic is truly impressive.  Plus, I couldn't help but notice your affinity for chickens in "Lord Of Chaos" – that brought a smile to my face.

Your games also look incredibly polished, and I want to commend you for your dedication and hard work. Keep it up!

Hey there. I just wanted to tell you that I really liked the aesthetics of your game.  The characters are nice and have cool abilities.  I also loved how the screen moves in response to the impacts. It has a lot of potential to becoming a great mobile game. Are you releasing updates anytime soon?

My team and I just released this: https://bellseboss.itch.io/not-a-lazy-sunday
It is still a WIP with tons of things to fix, but would love your feedback as a fellow developer.

Have a great day and keep the good work.

    Ivan

Wow, there was a lot of effort putting this game together. Congratulations.

I really like how you used a classic concept  and applied it to a new setting. Great job!

I think it is a very cool idea and the characters are very cute. It is a little bit confusing what's the purpose of the cakes and other things.  The independence of the character is a good idea, and can be expanded to have exclusive actions for each one, or puzzles/challenges that require collaboration.  It has a lot of potential and it is a very good job for a 48hrs jam. Congrats.

I loved you game. I enjoyed the mechanics, the art and the detail in the randomization of sounds. Very satisfying.

I really enjoy your game. The idea was great, the sounds work perfectly and the music certainly adds tension.  As a sound designer, I really appreciate the effort you guys put in the sfx.

Awesome. Hit me up on Discord (VanyaBel#5134) if you want to work together in the audio.

What a great experience! I really enjoy games that demand critical thinking and strategy. The music and sfx were really spot on. Kuddos.

This is probably the most elaborated and complete game I've played so far among the ones submitted for MFJG-2021. It combines challenges, spacial reasoning, keyboard dexterity and good humor.

As a sound designer, I am missing some music (and it would be great to match the music with the different states of the gravity, just a thought). Also, the dead sfx becomes really annoying  after a while.  You can try some randomization in pitch for the bouncing sounds to make them less repetitive, although they sound pretty good as they are right now.

Congratulations, you are pretty talented and created a fantastic and engaging game.

    Best,

    Ivan

The CTR is great and as a sporadic jazz player certainly appreciated the effect of free jazz!! Nice job.

I loved your game. Chasing clues, the different personalities and humor and the music. I really appreciated the little details with the Sfx for various items around the office! nicely done, Congratulations!
As a sound designer I really like when teams go a little bit further and add some ear candy. I did sound and music for this one: https://itch.io/jam/my-first-game-jam-winter-2021/rate/892511

This was such a nice surprise!!! I love the drawings, the sound effects, the music and the text.  Also the humor is greatly appreciated. I would love to have more levels of Todd picking!!!!

Nice Job!  I liked that I had to figure out the way to get to the button and the key. I also liked the narrator.  Having the same layout for all the levels gets boring after a while and the music gets too repetitive too. Overall, it is a very good concept and a great accomplishment. Congrats!

Very well done! Visuals, mechanics and audio match perfectly! I did audio and music for this one : https://itch.io/jam/my-first-game-jam-winter-2021/rate/892511

DUDE, YOU GAME IS AMAZING! I replayed the game , I love the different music of every level! The music sounds fluid and uninterrupted throughout the level it is marvelous.  I must apologize for my confusion before,  when I first played your game I hadn't slept like in a week, but I played it today full conscious and I just love it.

I cannot stop playing your game and finding new amazing things. Did you do all the music implementation within Unity or did you use any middleware? I know Wwise won't work with WebGL but maybe Fmod?

    (1 edit)

I really like how polished your game looks.  It's entertaining and can play it for hours.  The music fits the style but becomes too repetitive after a while, maybe a longer loop or some variations?
    Overall a really nice game!

Hey, thank you for your answer. My discord ID is VanyaBel#5134. Hope we can talk there!

Hey Anwar, I really liked your game. I left you a comment and a question.  Nice job!

Very interesting game Anwar! It is fun and challenging. Love how much effort you guys put in the sound.  The music works very well with the theme of the game. Did you have two different audio files playing simultaneously?  How did you implement that. I tried that with my game. Would love to know how you did it.

I really liked your game! The story was creative. The sounds work well and the music does the job. The UI was great and I enjoyed the way you presented the instructions to the GreatPlayer!

I loved the sound in your game, it does its job and gave me the chills. The idea is cool and the way the image degrades progressively is very cool!

Wow. I loved the style, the sounds and the overall mechanics of the game. The "rewind Time" function is awesome!!! I also loved how smooth the sounds transitions are.  5/5!

Hi, I had some problems playing the WebGL version, I use mac so didn't download the installer.  I would love to play the complete game... when I reach the end of the level and pull the lever nothing happens when I press the spacebar key.

It looks great tho, the MC's controllers are super responsive and I certainly appreciate that you added different music for each level. Maybe a sFx for the footsteps? The frozen images are awesome!! Would love to talk to you about how you implemented the sound. Did you do it directly in Unity?

    Good job Ninja Monkey!

Wow, this game has been a really nice experience! I love how smooth the MC's movement and the controls feel. Your sound effects really work and I loved that you used the same motif for the variations of the music.  Not necessary, but maybe a particular music for 1972? did you implemented the audio directly in Unity? 5/5

I think the idea is great and the application of the concept of rewind is very original!. You included a tutorial and a couple of levels, that was great.  I missed some music and audio, maybe I can help you with that in the future.  I really enjoyed it.

I did music and sound for "What The Hole?"  https://mastro2k.itch.io/whathehole . Could you please take a lok and rate it?  --- Btw, maybe we can Jam together in the future!

Hi, I really like how smooth the controls are and the movement of the MC!.  the sFx for the MC shooting are very good too. I got confused at the beginning about how to navigate the level but got the hang of it after a few tries. The music could use some variety, gets very repetitive after a whole and the beginning/end of the loop is very conspicuous. Overall very well done, congrats!

I like the idea of the game. I think it misses a little bit of story line and a clear objective.  Maybe you make the record go backwards with a purpose?

I do enjoy a little bit of jazz, so thank you for that.

    Good job!

I really nice the movement of the MC and the clock!  The concept of dodging  clock hans was really original!.  I think a little of storyline wold make the game more compelling and also make the music loop a little bit less predictable. I struggle with that on "What The Hole?".

    Nice game Cory!

I really enjoyed playing your game! The story is unique and the feature to load your own files is pretty cool! Did you do all the 3D art too? Excelente trabajo.

Este es el juego que hicimos nosotros, yo hice la música también:

    https://mastro2k.itch.io/whathehole

Really liked the mechanics of the rewind skill. The puzzles are fun and the MC looks really good.  The sFX are good, the music gets pretty repetitive after a while and the mix is very bottom heavy (you can equalize in the mixer) which gets tiring for the ears after a while.   Awesome job!
